Photos from Athens

Luz and Thanos spent about a week in Athens, where they had the chance to sit down and relax and get a first taste of the everyday life of half the population of Greece. Since Thanos grew up in Athens, Luz had a "inside" tour of the place. Here are some pictures taken from then. Pictures from Thano's home

The home is located in Halandri (or, as spelled on the upper right map, "Khalandrion"), a NorthEast suburb of Athens. We took a few pictures in the yard. Here is Luz in the entrance of the house. All the landscaping and artwork was done by Thano's father (who is a commercial artist by trade).

Pictures of the Acropolis and surrounding area.

The acropolis is located at the center of Athens, and is where the ancient city was located. On the top of the hill you will find the Parthenon. Luz and Thanos went for a tour and took lots of pictures. They speak for themselves.
